BNSF 706 is at East Auburn, Washington heading east over Stampede Pass with a train of grain empties on Oct. 18, 2005.

BNSF 706 is a GE C44-9W (#49989) built in June 1997. BNSF briefly retained the Santa Fe “Super Fleet” (Warbonnet) colors and even left the “Santa Fe” name on some units, though they were branded with large “BNSF” initials on their flanks.
CSX 7539 makes an appearance on a westbound Stampede Pass train at East Auburn, Washington, in January 1998.
